Description
Three Bulbs Hourglass from the 17th Century is a very special, rare, rather unique piece. It comprises three glass bulbs connected vertically by a narrow neck that allows a regulated flow of sand from the upper bulbs to the lower ones. The first particular feature you will find attractive in this hourglass is its case in brass and its octagonal section and bulbs located inside. Above all, the large bulb interconnects to the smaller with a stem, a cord made of wax. Last but not least, the upper and lower protective covers with pierced and decorative friezes interconnected by six brass rods.
